It also provided the chance to connect with corporate and other diverse owned businesses looking for key partnerships and ways to collaborate in today's robust ecosystem. Lastly, registration included the opportunity to participate in a business pitch competition in an effort to win up to $7,500 in cash.

The purpose of the community pitch competition was to help established minority entrepreneurs obtain the necessary management skills that will enable them to take advantage of venture capital opportunities and qualify for financing that will lead to higher levels of sustainable business growth.
